At R O'Brien flooring we offer a ten year guaranteed option on our installs.  If selected we approach the preparation of your floor in  a slightly different manner, offering a boot and braces approach to the installation.  We select the best materials and the best installation practice for your floor.  If your existing floors are timber, we firstly install the best quality flooring grade (SP101) plywood.  Most retailers would stop here, but with our ten year guaranteed option, we additionally apply a primer adhered 4-6mm layer of the best quality Uzin fibre reinforced screed.  We believe that this offers the best possible surface for your floors to be laid on, providing a solid base, that feels great underfoot.  If your floors are concrete, we apply a sand blinded resin primer, that acts as a Damp proofer, and a mechanical primer for the coat of 4-6mm best quality Uzin screed.  If your sub-floors consist of both concrete and timber, we prepare each as above, with a 4-6mm layer of screed over both, which assists in leaving the joins between the concrete and timber floors as good as they can be, for years to come.
